GENERAL FAQ'S
The Block Party WKNDR is a 4-day music-fuelled party holiday in Albufeira, Portugal, packed with high-energy themed, boat, and pool parties. Expect the best in Hip Hop, R&B, Dancehall, House, and more from top-tier DJs and hosts.
The Block Party WKNDR is held in various clubs and locations in Albufeira. Located in the Algarve region. (South of Portugal)
The Boat Party may take place in Portimão which is a 30-40 minute drive from Albufeira. The full Block Party WKNDR 2027 schedule will be released soon so you can see where each event takes place.
Most Block Party WKNDR events will be happening along 'The Strip' in Albufeira, Portugal, taking over a mix of clubs, pool venues, and nearby beach spots in that area.
The boat party will set sail from Portimão, which is roughly a 30 minute drive from Albufeira. 'The Strip' Address: The Strip, Av. Sá Carneiro, 8200-283 Albufeira, Portugal.
Albufeira in May is usually warm and sunny, with daytime temperatures sitting around 21–30°C.
At night it gets colder, so cargos with a nice top, light layers, or longer dresses are perfect for evening events to stay comfortable while still looking on point.
DJs play various genres from Afro & Tribal House, Afrobeats, Dancehall, Soca, Shatta, Bouyon, Amapiano, Reggae, Garage, Funky House, Hip Hop, and R&B.
We will be having a brunch / food available to purchase at one of our events. (More details of this will be available soon) There will also be an in-depth PDF guide with favourite restaurants and food spots around Albufeira and the Strip (Where the weekender is taking place) to help you choose where to eat and drink.
Yes. Our media team will be capturing photos and videos across the whole weekend at all Block Party WKNDR events for content and promotion.
If you’d rather not be featured, please speak to a member of the media team on the day so they can be aware. While we’ll do our best to respect requests, photography and videography will still be taking place as part of documenting the event.
The Block Party WKNDR is an 18+ event. Passports & ID's will be checked at our wristband collection.
Yes, 100%.
The Block Party WKNDR is super social and a big vibe, so coming solo is okay! – you’ll meet people at the pool parties, themed nights, and along the Strip. Just follow normal nightlife common sense (stick with the crowd, use taxis/Uber, watch your drinks) and you’ll be good. Plus, you may meet another solo traveller!
TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION FAQ'S
FARO (FAO) Airport is the best option for The Block Party WKNDR, then just a 30 - 40-minute transfer, taxi or Uber ride to your accommodation in Albufeira.
Most Block Party WKNDR events are around The Strip, so everything is within walking distance of each other. However, the boat party that takes place at Clube Naval de Portimão, you will have to make your own way there. More details on the boat party will be released soon.
If your accommodation isn't near on the Strip, services like Uber & Bolt are the easiest options and are usually very affordable
HOTELS
We recommend any of the MGM Muthu Hotels in Albufeira, all a short distance from the Oura Strip. Rooms can be booked via Booking.com or directly at https://www.muthuhotelsmgm.com/pt/hotels/portugal.The closest MGM hotel to the Strip is Grand Muthu Oura View Beach Club, with plenty of other nearby options in Albufeira.
OTHER HOTELS
We also recommend Belver Hotel Da Aldeia and Santa Eulalia Hotel & Spa, both conveniently located for getting to the Strip.
AIRBNB'S, APARTMENTS & VILLAS
There are lots of affordable Airbnbs, apartments, and villas near the Strip. Aim to stay within about a 1.1-mile radius, using this address as a guide: The Strip, Av. Sá Carneiro, 8200-283 Albufeira, Portugal.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. It can help cover things like flight delays, lost luggage, or medical emergencies while you’re in Portugal, so you can focus on enjoying the weekender without stress.

No, tickets are non-refundable.
However, if an event needs to be cancelled, full refunds will be issued to all ticket holders. If you'd like to transfer your ticket to someone else, just reach out to our team and we'll help make it happen.
No worries! QR codes and your booking tickets will be available one week before The Block Party WKNDR 2027. Check your email (including spam) or contact our team if you still don't see them.

No, Block Party WKNDR is not responsible for any lost or stolen items during the event. Please keep your personal belongings secure at all times.
